Machu Picchu Private Tours
Relax with all entrance fees, train, bus tickets, land transportation and guide included.
Around 7.30am (4:00am if climbing the Wayna mountain) a SUV or Van will pick you up from Kallpawasi and drive you to the Ollantaytambo train station where you will take either the Expedition or Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. The views from your train windows will be absolutely spectacular as you travel beside the roaring Urubamba River and the towering mountains surrounding it! Your English-speaking guide will meet you on arrival and walk you to the bus station, so you can drive up the mountain to the amazing citadel. You will enjoy a our 2-hour guided tour of this world wonder, visiting the Main temple, the Circular Tower, cemeteries, the Intihuatana sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, etc. After that you can freely explore Machu Picchu for a further 2 hours or climb the Wayna (Huayna) mountain if you choose so. You will take the train back to Ollantaytambo at the designated time, where you will be picked up and driven back to Kallpawasi, where you can rest and relax after a long day.

Inkary Museum
After a nice 25-minute drive you will arrive at the Inkary Museum . This excellent private museum shows the different ancient cultures of Peru and gives you a better understanding of what you will see the following days when visiting the famous ruins.
Admission to the museum costs about US$12 per person.
Ollantaytambo
You will be transferred from Kallpawasi along the valley (downstream) to the town and ruins of Ollantaytambo. Founded by the Inca Ollanta on the banks of the Urubamba River, Ollantaytambo is a fort built into the mountain with Andean terraces and also a traditional town*. At the top of the ruins you’ll find the Temple of the Sun, built with huge rocks that have remained intact for centuries in spite of the effects of time and weather. Tourist ticket required for Ollantaytambo ruins.

Pisaq
(Town/Market + Temple/Ruins)
You will arrive at the city of Pisac after a 55-minute scenic drive along the Vilcanota river (Sacred Valley). The city of Pisac is located at the base of a spectacular Inca fortress perched on a mountain spur. Pisac (town) is a nice colonial village famous for its market and -more recently- for being the center of spiritual retreats and new age followers in the area. You will then drive up the mountains to explore the extensive ruins of Pisac with stunning views over the valley. On the walk into the Citadel of Pisac you can observe temples, residences, altars, channels, carvings, tunnels/caves and the famous Intiwatana “The hitching post of the Sun”. After Pisac, you can either go back to Kallpawasi or you can continue for about 15 minutes to Awanakancha. This is the most important showcase for Camelidaes in the area, where you can see and even feed the different animals (Llama, Alpaca, Vicuña, Guanaco). Tourist ticket required for Pisac ruins. The entrance to Awanakancha is free of charge.

Chinchero, Maras y Moray
Pick up from Kallpawasi and drive for 35 min up to the town of Chinchero (elev. 12340 ft). A typical Andean village that combines Inca ruins with a colonial church (one of the best in the area) and a colorful market (Tue. Thu. & Sun. only). Next, a further breathtaking 15 mile drive with the beautiful snowcapped Chicon and Veronica mountains in the Cordillera Vilcanota as a backdrop you will continue through to Moray. In Moray you will visit the Inca agricultural greenhouse or laboratory, consisting of four platforms built with an amphitheater-style. After that, you will head to the salt mines of Maras composed of around 3000 small wells, used since the time of the Incas, in which the salt extracted naturally from the subsoil of the place is dried by an eye of water or natural hypersaline manante located in the Qoripujio mountain that probably formed 100 million years ago during the formation of the entire Andes mountain range. Tourist ticket required for Chinchero and Moray (see below). Entrance to the Salt mines is about 10 soles per person (cash only).

Cusco City Tour
After an early pick up from Kallpawasi you will drive for about 1h to the impressive Sacsaywaman -the famous Inca fortress- with its gigantic stones (of up to 300 tons). Then you will drive to Cusco, the cosmopolitan Inca capital were you can marvel at the spectacular Plaza de Armas (main square) surrounded by 2 beautiful churches (Cathedral and Compania). Take an approx. 3h walking tour through Plaza Regocijo, Plaza San Francisco, Mercado San Pedro down to Av. El Sol, Qorikancha Temple. After lunch you can head to Triunfo street to see the spectacular Inca walls and the famous 12-sided stone. Then walk up to San Blas, the artists’ neighborhood where you can have coffee in one the of the many bohemian places. Tourist ticket required for Sacsayhuaman, Qorikancha and many museums (see below). Entrance to the Cathedral requires a separate ticket.
Some highlights of Cusco: One of the most fascinating cities in the world, a UNESCO world heritage site, the historic district features several sites from pre-Columbian and colonial times. Some of Peru’s top chefs can be found serving delicious regional dishes and international specialties. You can find traditional sites in the middle of a cosmopolitan atmosphere in the so-called Rome of the Andes.

Children Activities in Kallpawasi
Art Workshops will be given in a personalized manner and at the time chosen by the participant. The students will acquire traditional knowledge and be able to experiment with modern techniques and a variety of materials to recognize and improve their various skills, to encourage the discovery of their potential and the development of their psychomotor skills along with therapeutic techniques with art.

The full-ticket price is about 130 soles per person (approximately $40), 70 soles for children under 18. Officially called “Boleto Turístico del Cusco,” it allows you to gain entrance to multiple attractions in and around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The full ticket is the most popular, but there are also several partial tickets on sale too. Your passport is required at the point of sale.
